The Library Project: 100 by 11

  1. Library Project : The Library Project was initiated in the year 2023–24, with the aim of inculcating a reading habit among students. Each Library kit contains a set of 100 books, which a student is expected to read by the age of 11; therefore the motto- “100 by 11”. Teachers who show exceptional participation and commitment to the ELP are awarded with a Library set, as a gesture of appreciation, and to encourage their students to engage in reading and further strengthen their English reading, and comprehension capabilities.

The library is divided into 5 levels: Each level mapped against the Learning levels of the ELP.

Through the library, students can read stories, listen to audio, and attempt quizzes linked to each story. This integrated approach helps students strengthen their reading and comprehension skills in a structured and engaging way.

  3. The Listening Product : The Listening Product is designed to develop vocabulary among students, while building awareness regarding fundamental topics and issues. Students listen to fun and engaging videos on various genres that are graded according to the level of complexity. There are fun and engaging questions to which the child is expected to respond so that they can learn to comprehend the English language via listening.
